Stay at Home Chapter 3 - Day 27

Managed a short walk with the MWD this evening - it was quite unpleasant. 

I made an apple crisp today - there were some apples that needed using up.  Normally, I don't get a craving for apple crisp until the fall so that tells you what temperatures we're dealing with here.  It was only a high of 8* and I heard there's a wind chill for overnight. That's ridiculous.

I didn't leave the house today unless you consider being out on the front porch washing windows as leaving the house.  That was today's  excitement. The front bay windows were cleaned; they were covered in dog boog.  We have the double-hung windows which you can tip inwards so both sides of those got done.  I need a ladder or a long pole to do the outside and I just didn't want to be outside.  I have two long windows on either side of the front door (they have a name which I can't remember) and a storm door which were absolutely filthy; you could barely see out of them.  And I did the back door storm door which also was absolutely filthy.  I still have the patio doors and the kitchen to do.  Another day.
