Summer has come to Southern Ontario rather abruptly. We had Spring for 5 minutes and now we're into high 20's and temperatures with humidexes attached to them and afternoon thunderstorms.
I am not complaining. However, last evening around the dinner table, one of the Trouts who shall remain nameless (coughHimselfcough) had the nerve to say it was too hot. And I quickly reminded him of what I had told them all in the middle of February as we were suffering through the polar vortex, the coldest winter in 20 years and 100% more snow than usual; I did not want to hear anyone bitch about the heat come summer. It could be a humidex of 40*, too hot to breath, too muggy to move but I don't want to hear it.
Should I hear anyone complain again, they will get a punch in the head to jog their memory of how horrible the winter was and they better enjoy the fine weather now while it lasts because in 4 months we'll be back into the crap.
