Big Walk this morning - nice and cool - not like this evening's walk where the humidex had soared.
I went to the plaza this morning after the Big Walk. I had two prescriptions to put in at Shoppers and some of Himself's to pick up. At Shoppers, (I don't know if other drug stores do this) they do a yearly meds check where you and the pharmacist go over all your medications to see if, well I don't really know why. The form was attached to the bag of drugs and the pharmacist asked if we could go over Himself's medication. I said, "You can't talk to me. I don't know what he takes or what it's for. He takes so much." He laughed and the pharm. tech. laughed and he said, "Oh, most wives know more about their husband's drugs than they do." I laughed along but in my head I said, yes well I'm not his mother. Was this not a breach of confidentiality? It was a little presumptuous at least.
I had to order HistoryBoy's birthday cake from Sobeys. He likes them - nobody else really does. I think it's the icing that I don't like. The cake part is okay. But it's his birthday so he can have what he wants.
Out of my 9 jars of rhubarb jam made yesterday, 4 didn't seal. I don't want 4 jars of rhubarb jam in my fridge so I'll have to find some unsuspecting souls to take them. LudditeGranny will take one, Auntie Maggot will get one, maybe ScienceGirl would want one. That just leaves me with one in the fridge and 5 others in the cold cellar.
