Things That Get on My Nerves: Vol. 1

A lot of things get on my nerves, but if I do a few at a time, I won't seem like such a bitch.

1. TLC - That station is turning into some kind of tabloid freak show. From the Little People, Big World (the husband needs a kick in the arse) to Jon & Kate Plus Too Many Whiny Gurney Children (get over yourself) to 300 Kids and Counting (put a knot in it buddy). Not to mention all the freaks of nature people, like the guy with hands and feet like tree trunks and the people who weigh 5000 lbs..


2. When Himself blows his nose in the shower. Eeewwww. I hope he's not peeing in there as well.


3. Grocery shopping. I used to enjoy grocery shopping for some strange reason but recently, I begrudge spending money on stuff that used to be a lot cheaper. $1.99 for no-name bread! $1.79 for a package of spaghetti! And it gets on my nerves that so much of my fruits and veg come from so far away.


4. When people in this house finish up food and don't add it to the grocery list. Sure as hell, I'm the one who goes to get something out of the cupboard, usually in the middle of making something and it's all gone and grocery night isn't for another week.

5. My next-door neighbour. Just the sight of her pisses me off. There's so much about her that bugs me, it requires its own post.
