Snow Day - Pah

We were supposed to get 10-15 cm of snow today, possibly mixed with freezing rain.  They had been forcasting a huge winter storm for the entire province for a couple of days.  I woke up this morning to hear that the school busses had been cancelled and country schools closed. 

Now, snow days can be kinda fun as long as you dont have to go out.  You get to hunker down and be all nice and cosy as the blizzard rages and the wind howls outside.  I sometimes light a fire and make hot chocolate.  Boy gets to turn his brain to mush by watching tv and playing Star Wars wii all day.  Theyre kind of a treat.

But this snow day - big fail.  It snowed for about an hour and then turned to rain; the snowfall warning has been called off.  Now it is just a day that Im stuck at home with a light-sabre weilding bored Boy.
